The only way a Cingular sim card will work in a T-Mobile phone is if the phone is unlocked to work with other GSM providers. It's the same for all GSM phones. If you want to use a sim card from one provider with a phone from another GSM provider, the phone would have to be unlocked first.

Refurbished phones are phones that have either been returned or restored to like new condition by the manufacturer. They cannot be sold as new, so they are sold as refurbished.

No,sorry but the sim chip is directly tied to your plan, so only a T-Mobile goes with T-Mobile... Cingular chips can all switch between Cingular phones, but just that, sorry about that, if you want a cheap phone go to http://www.cingular.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phones/index.jsp you should be able to find a cheap or, if you, free phone.

No, this doesn't work. You have to get the service that comes with the phone. Companies do this so that if you want their phone you have to use their service.
