I am going to get a laptop computer and I don't know if I should get the 15" or the 17" screen. and also if I should get widescreen. I want the standard sized one. what is the most common one that people get?

Consider that the bigger the screen, the faster the battery drains. The 17 inch screen, in my opinion, is too big for a portable computer. I would get the 15 inch and get the widescreen if you intend to watch movies or use applications that need the extra room, such as large spreadsheets.

the real Question should be,Which is the best or most common screen size for a laptop PC?,and I will say the the best between 15" and 17" well the biggest the better ,I know for a fact that 15" laptop are a little bit small so why not get the 17" one,the most preferred is the 17"one and is better the standard screen not the wide-screen.
