Hello all!
I am doing an English project and need music to go with my video.

My English project is:
Take a poem (mine is my Holocaust poem) and create a video and set music and videos along with the poem.

Does anyone know any sad piano songs that have NO LYRICS
and almost have a creepy depressing feel to them.

*I was thinking of music from Shindler's List and I listened to 30 seconds of the Theme Song and it wasn't powerful enough.

The song "Hurt" by Johnny Cash works. Or Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata," which is quiet and slow enough to work for the kind of project you are doing. If you want something a bit edgier, go for 'Edge Hill' by Groove Armada. Unlike Groove Armada's typical booty-shaking songs, "Edge Hill" is dark and depressive, without lyrics.
If you really want to get a meaningful song, take "Gloomy Sunday", preferrably the German version. Its lyrics are amazing.

Check out Life is Beautiful's main theme or Long, Long Time Ago from Pan's Labyrinth. Also, try The Immolation Scene and Anakin's Betrayal from Star Wars Episode 3. All are beautiful sad songs.

And yes, Moonlight Sonata would be perfect too.

when you said creepy, depressing feel to them, i immediately thought of "Moonlight Sonata." I'm learning how to play that on the piano right now. it's really depressing, perfect for a holocaust project.

if you have the ability to remove the words somehow from the song ( or edit it so it loops the wordless parts) the song How to Dissappear Completely by radiohead would be too perfect
