I tend to have pain, dull pain, on my left side near the heart. Thanks in advance

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it could be indigestion due to the alcohol burning the esophagus or the stomach lining. It could also be gas due to indigestion. If it happens a lot, you might consider easing up on your drinking. Try having a few drinks a day instead of having them all at once on the weekend.
Alternatively, you may want to get a doctor's advice on which antacid would be good. I took a prescription medicine that stopped the "acid pumps" in my stomach for the duration that I took the medicine and my problem cleared up very quickly. Overusing these drugs, though, can cause real problems.
Please address your drinking problem before it gets out of hand.

Possibly dehydration. Drink lots of WATER. You also may need to restore electrolytes, like potassium. Eat a banana and drink some orange juice.
Stop binge drinking, ok? If you can't join AA. Best wishes.
