You know, the dark era of Europe when Christianity ruled and supressed all that was good and joyful for ONE THOUSAND YEARS until the revival of GREEK and EGYPTIAN learning in the Rennaisance that had, luckily, been preserved by the Muslims after the Christians closed all the universities and tried to stomp out all the libraries.

So, in a THOUSAND YEARS of the Christian countries practically standing still in terms of knowledge, the Muslim countries couldn't make enough progress to make Europe look like third world losers? The contest still ended pretty much in a draw? Wow, that's pathetic.... for you know who.

So, you're saying that Muslim culture, when allowed to go "full steam ahead", still can't outpace Christian culture when it's being forcefully restrained by fundamentalists?

Wow did somebody not fall far from the tree. So now we are not only responsible for what we are doing now but also something that happened 1000 years ago. Truly utterly amazing. Since when are we stamping out religion and education. We build schools, provide books and materials. We purposely avoid mosques and churches unless occupied by the enemy and they are using it as a grounds for terrorism. And yet the dems and libs want to cut funding for that. Yet you still think conservitives are the responsible party??? Read a little bit more into whos doing what in the government and youll find that the truth is stranger than the fiction you hear on T.V.

Neocons are not fundamentalist Christians; in fact, the vast majority of them are Jewish social liberals. And if you know anything about the Middle Ages, you'd know that wasn't a great time for Jews!

Neocons have been around for decades (longer, if you count former Trotskyites like Strauss), and it amazes me that people still do not know the difference between a paleoconservative and a neoconservative.
