hi i am wondering if a soft shell turtle can live with a mud turtle? can someone help me?

They want slightly different set-ups. Softshells (which are very prone to fungus infections) like shallow tanks with sandy bottoms, while muds like more traditional tanks.

seems like a good idea soft shell and mud tertles go to gether in nture and in the turtle world there is no such thing as a wrong pair, exept if one turtle is much bigger than the other or they have totally different climate needs remeber to have clean soil for the mud and keep in mind mud turtles can let out offensive oders if agetated I think

soft shells in general have a pretty nasty disposition. They can and will bite and injure tankmates. Muds (and musks) arent the best of swimmers and are fairly mellow as a species. Any species mixed with a softy isnt a good idea. They just dont make the best of roommates in a captive environment.
