I have a xv6700 Pocket vc and I dont want to use data connection as a modem because it costs alot, so is it possible to use wireless home internet to connect to the pocket pc then use that as a modem on my computer.

I use a simple CF wireless card in my PocketPC and it connects to my home wireless system just like any other comuter on the network. Even share folders etc. No problem no cost. So sure wifi works.

the best way to get this done is with pdanet
there is another pay software that also does bluetooth modem connections well called bluesoleil.

Yes, ActiveSync since certain old version has PPP built-in to do that, though you gotta make sure it don't use cell line for data.
