I am 32 weeks pregnant and I am so miserable! When I stand up I get sharp pains in my abdomen. At night when I lay still I get contractions that come back to back. I have to get up and walk around like every couple of hours to make them stop. My back hurts all the time. My legs just started hurting all the way up at the joints so now when I walk it hurts really bad. This might be gross but oh well... when my baby moves it hurts really bad and sometimes discharge comes out... I do want to have this baby but I am beyond uncomfortable. And on top of it all my two year old daughter loves to run from me now and pour juice on the floor. What can I do?

have you spoken to your doctor about this? It sounds as though you are in preterm labor!!! And that you are dilating enough to allow fluids out, it may be mucus but it maybe a little more.
As for the discomfort and pain if you are starting labor you will be miserable and hurt just everywhere!

As for your two year old...time outs need to start right now, teach her to clean up the mess she makes and then give her a two minute time out! At this point you need to focus on not going in to labor and keeping your body as comfortable as you can!
I still highly recommend calling your doctor and asking them these things about your pregnancy.
Best wishes,

I too am 32 weeks and feel the same way. I can't really answer what is going on, cause I would like to know, but since both of us are experiencing the things and are the same weeks pregnant then im sure we are okay and things are normal. But yes, I am soooo uncomfortable and now I hate to say it, but I dont like it when he moves now, cause it does hurt, its really uncomfortable. Good Luck
as for your daughter, she should be "punished" when she intentionally pours juice on the floor, tell her how bad that could hurt mommy and baby if you slipped in her juice!

hi. I have had the same thing for about 2 weeks now..and Im about 36 weeks. I went to the Dr. and they said that there wasnt much I could do right now..just to deal with the contractions and rest. But its very hard to do because nothing seems to make you happy. But ive noticed that the only thing that helps is laying on my left side for a while then switching to my right...thats the only way I have found to stop the pain.! as far as the 2 year old make her clean it up !!

contractions may be caused by dehydration
I'm 33 weeks & have only a couple a day & they don't hurt it just gets tight
try to drink more water & get lots of rest
maybe treat urself to a maternal massage at ur local spa
just try to relax
it'll be over soon

not much except get as much help from others as you possibly can and nap as much as possible. good luck. i've been there-there is a light at the end of the tunnel-think of that! only 6-8 more weeks to go and you are done!
