I have a LITTLE bit of acne and i have some scars from where my acne is already going away. How can i cover up with powder makeup? Keep in mind that my skin is very dry, can i put a bit of moisturizer? or will i just break out more?

Make sure whatever you use allows your pores to breathe. Piling on too much make up covers your pores. Use a green concealer if the acne is red. It will reduce the redness. If not, just dab a little bit of regular concealer on the area then use a liquid foundation to blend it in.

You may want to try a liquid-to-powder foundation. They feel lighter on your face and don't make you feel like you're wearing a pound of makeup!

MOST IMPORTANTLY: stop picking at your face! The acne scars will stay forever so do not pick at them! They'll heal on their own in a couple of days. If it's too embarrassing then use acne medication and wash your face at least daily.

No, it won't make you break out. Just use a type that does not contain oil. You can find it at any department store! As for covering the scars, I would first use a bit of concealer that is the color of your skin tone. (Lighter will draw attention to the areas.) Once you've used it to cover the scars, you may even out the skin with foundation. Try a foundation with a yellow tone. It is universally flattering and will help disguise any redness from the acne. Try makeup by Bobbi Brown. It's wonderful for this type of coverage. Once you've evened out your skin with the foundation, get it to set with loose powder all over.

It just depends what moisturizer you use. Try searching and see what works best. I suggest getting a cleanser and a moisturizer, but whatever suits your fancy..=)
