I believe that they are real, I mean, there are those psychic people are known for their predictions, Dorothy Allison, who cannot explain how she sees unknown people and events so clearly in her mind, but several times her gif has helped locate missing persons.

Let me pull up a page from Wikipedia for you, and maybe you can get something from it:

Premonition

The word Premonition refers to a situation when future events are foreknown or forecast. Premonitions are attributed to the presence of supernatural or paranormal abilities.(see Cassandra myth).

Famous premonitions
Abraham Lincoln's prophetic dream of his death and funeral, which he related to both his bodyguard and his wife mere hours before his assassination.[citation needed]
Famed blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan also had a prophetic dream, which he related to his bandmates a mere 20 hours before his death in a helicopter crash.
Otto von Bismarck predicted the beginning of the First World War, by saying (shortly before he died in 1898) to Mr. Ballen): "If there is ever another war in Europe, it will come out of some damned silly thing in the Balkans."

In popular culture
In the Final Destination series of films, the protagonist of each film has a deadly premonition of an accident. Throughout the film, these premonitions continue in a more subtle manner, like fate hinting at them.
In the WB television series Charmed, one of the main characters, Phoebe Halliwell, has the power of premonition.

Let me tell you something I know personally too: You can also search the 2007 movie Premonition, that novel by that Jude Watson guy "Premonitions"(which I have heard from family is very good, if your into that stuff), and "precognition", which by Wikipedia is "In parapsychology, precognition (from the Latin præ-, “prior to,” + cognitio, “a getting to know”) is a form of extra-sensory perception wherein a person perceives information about future places or events before they happen".

I really hope that helps your situation, I am kind of familiar with it myself.

Yes, there are some people who are very sensitive to their internal intuitions. I'm pretty sure it runs in families too. Altho this occurs, one can choose not to be a part of it at all. It's not an evil occurence. It is supernatural and I think the authentic intuitives don't flaunt their abilities, just warn others in their innermost circle of things they have seen in a dream. Its happened to me a few times and I'm sure my mom as well. We aren't crazies, just ultra sensitive.

sure they're truly. I have had a few of them myself, continually approximately a terrible occasion approximately to spread. I recognize while they're truly, for the reason that it's continually in the course of sleep or having a pipe dream and the dream could be very shiny and truly, like im there in man or woman. I had one approximately my first automobile coincidence (didnt pay attention, used to be k), my sister's automobile coincidence (she used to be k), my grandpa demise, a man i used to be relationship getting a visitors price tag, my dad wrapping his truck round a tree (i known as him instantly and controlled to restrict it), and my father and mother coming into an coincidence (fortunately have shyed away from as good). Perhaps the scariest of all, i noticed a tender lady (probably sixteen years historic) on the mall getting out of a white automobile, and that i instantly acquired a flash displaying me this lady in that automobile, dressed in the equal blouse she had on, coming into a spoil and falling subconscious, with blood draining down her face. I figured she could suppose i used to be loopy, so i simply walked away. That night time her snapshot flashed around the information, announcing she had died in a automobile coincidence, approximately 3 hours after i noticed her, in that white automobile. My guilt used to be inconceivable.

I've had some.....few & far between. The most powerful one for me was when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I felt a pain in my breast before she told me. I've had a few dreams, too, but they were not important. Snatches of conversation, etc.
