Would they just assume is a miscariage?
Would they do a blood test?
Would they do an ultrasound, even thou the embryo is too small to be seen in the screen?
Please if someone can tell me what did they do to you when you went there if you were on this situation I would really appreciated...

I had bleeding at 20 weeks. I called ahead to the E.R. and when i got there they wanted to know the color of the blood, how much i was bleeding. Then the nurse put the fetal heart monitor on and a stress monitor on. She watched the heart beat for awhile. The doctor came in shortly after that and felt my stomach and asked if at any time did it hurt where he was feeling. Then in the morning because my bleeding had stopped he sent me for a sonogram and the tech. looked at my uterus wall, and my placenta for any bleeding and to see if my placenta had changed positions which could cause some bleeding. What they found is that I has blood build up behind my placenta and I would be fine. I had a friend who had same type of bleeding and they did a vaginal exam, i asked my doctor about it at my next opt. cause i wounder why he didn't do such and he explain that if a woman is bleeding that the doctor should never do a vaginal exam because it could cause more damage. This is my experience, but each one will be different, and hope this helps. Good Luck.

They will do an ultrasound to try and assess why you are bleeding and whether the baby is still alive. Remember though that they can make mistakes and many women have been told the baby has died and gone on to have a healthy baby -though statistically they are right most of the time.

If the bleeding is from a low lying placenta they may place you on bed rest.

There are probably other tests and medications as well but that is as much as I am aware of.

Hi, I was 16 weeks pregnant and I woke in the morning and I was bleeding heavily I mean heavy . I panicked and told my hubby to call 911. We went to the hospital and here's what they did
1st Urine test- to make sure you are still pregnant
2-They put a fetal movement monitor to monitor the baby's movement
3-They ask alot of questions about pregnancy and your medical history
4-They do an ultrasound to check for baby's heartbeat

5-they checked the cervix to make sure it was still closed
Any type of bleeding in pregnancy is considered Threatened Abortion so don't worry about that title. Just make sure your cervix is closed.
They found out i have a low lying placenta and that's what caused the bleeding. Hope that helped.

They will do an internal ultrasound to tell if your cervix has opened at all to expel fetal tissue.

Well, this happened to someone I know...sis in law...

The doctor checked her, said everything was ok, sent her home. But he also said "no more sex."

She went home, weeks later had a beautiful, healthy baby.
