whats the update on the 360 gonna do?

i havent been online in a bit cause xbox is updating the xbox live service ig uess but what is taking so long,and how come i cant get on xbox.com

I believe they are just doing some cleaning up and maybe the servers will be a little better. I read an article and they said they weren't doing anything major. So i doubt there will be much of difference when you get back on.
