22 - I jus began nursing school, buried my grandmother who was my reason for living, and took care of my mom. That was 13 years ago and new nurturing others is what I wanted to continue doing in life. I laugh every day and LOVE my life!!!!!

I am figuring out every day really. This is not to say that I have no idea what I want - I do, I have a very good one. Professionally, I think right before the end of high school I picked my top colleges, my major and what I wanted to do. From then on, it was how to get where I want. Personally, I figured it out a little earlier. But experience, more maturity and people in my life have lead me to rethink certain issues that seemed obvious 10 years ago. Very recently, I was faced with a choice that forced me to balance personal and professional life. What I want from life is still kind of the same - but the realizations and perspectives change.
Also, the "what I want out of life" isn't static - at 20-30, it's career. At 30-40 it's family. At 40-50 it's a good life. At 50-60 it's health and family and interesting work.

I'm not sure I have... but I am at a place where I am happy with the direction my life is leading... and am proud of the direction my children are heading..... I guess this happened for me about 5 years ago; when I finally made the commitment to make myself and my carreer a top priority in my life... I was 26....

I finally figured out, you don't always get what you want, but you get what you need :)
