I mean, c'mon. He plays for the Broncos!

His arm is much stronger than both. Young and Leinart benefited from playing at major college programs with blue-chip type players helping them. Cutler didn't have that asset and he still competed with major schools in the SEC at Vanderbilt including a number of upsets that can be attributed to his abilities alone.

I expect Leinart to struggle as all QB's do at Arizona (the ownership just doesn't do that team right and Leinart will pay)
Young has great ability and field awareness. I expect him to have a decent career but the cat is out of the bag on him and teams will figure him out similar to that of Michael Vick. The Titans can't seem to piece anything together consistently and he will find himself playing for third in that division alot more than for first.

The Broncos always put players in the right place and compete every year for the division crown. Cutler will strive in Shanahan's offense and once he understands he's not at Vandy anymore and doesn't have to do it all by himself he will far exceed the other two and be a top 5 QB in this league.

not so better because Leinert was drafted lower and Vince Young did more than him in college and in their rookie season. Leinert did great for the cardinals. showing that he will do good unlike many 1st round offenseive player struggles and when they leave they hit their prime like Jake Plummer and Thomas Jones. Jay Cutler has great arm but turns the ball over more compared to them unlike Vince Young and Leinert, he was picked to be a starter later on. All three will gave great success in the pro but Leinert will show the cardinals he can be a great in the pocket QB.

i feel leinert is the best of the candidates. he'd be amazing if he had an O Line that blocks. thats for sure. cutler is pretty good as well, but lets get serious, he aint no john elway or brett favre. vince young is good, but i feel he just got way too much attention. it was like a repeat of mike vicks rookie year. only difference is young knows how to pass and the new rules of the nfl makes defenders afraid to sack qb's (hint hint, giants game). nfl is becoming a circus with these stupid rules being changed!!! by the way, i'm not a giants fan

Cutler is the most accurate most promising of the 3.
Young is the best athlete.
Leinert knows how to manage his offense and will be a very good QB with time.

Young is overrated and Leinert is on a cursed team. Cutler is going to be the best out of the three. I just don't see anyone doing well in Arizona and again, Young is overrated.

Thats exactly right - he plays for the Donkeys - he doesn't have to be as good as either of those two with that running game. I think its way too early in any of their careers to say who will be better, but Cutler had a good couple of games, Vince Young was amazing and Matt Leinert did pretty good. I think Young does better this year because he seems to be a lot more confident than the other two. Cutler and Leinert will have sophomore slumps.

As of now, id say the order for the best of those three goes:
1. Young
2. Leinert
3. Cutler

However, i believe that Cutler this year will possibly show great improvement in his ability to think quick but still be patient which is where he struggled last year.

Lets look at the stats shall we:

Vince Young:

Jay Cutler:

So stats whise he isnt even close and if you calculate his stats to a full season you get app. 3,000yds 27 tds 15 ints and 6-10 record while vince gets 2706 yds 14 tds. 16 ints 9-7 record. so stats whise hes better than vince. now lets look at matt. 3704 yds, 16 tds 17ints, 8-8 record so heres my list
