If evolution is true and it took millions of years to reach each higher step, starting from the first living cell, then where are all the billions upon billions of bones that should be left behind from the evolution process?

I love when people who have faith (agree to believe things without evidence) argue their opponents by requiring extensive evidence, as if not having every single bone since life evolved disproves evoltuion, even though there are many important transition fossils around. What if we just said we believe in evolution because the bible tells us so? Or how about "you've got to have faith" - George Micheal?

Decomposed. It takes a special set of circumstances to create a fossil... most bones don't make it.

We do not even have many bones from the last 500 years. Your question is ill posed.

Many bones couldn't undergo the pressure underground and they decayed.

It decays into earth and compost and some to gasoline.
