Heck YES! It's such a fast-paced, skilled game. How could anyone not think it's fun to watch? Ok, maybe if you didn't know the rules, or if it was (it does happen) a bad game.

I love the athleticism, the speed, the skill, the grace...even when someone's sliding across the ice on his butt. It combines the best parts of different sports and then adds the element of balance by throwing in ice.

If you're new to the sport, I'd recommend going to a game in person with someone who knows the sport and isn't adverse to instructing you as the game is played. There's nothing that compares to actually being in the arena during a tight game. It's one of the best feelings on Earth!

I love watching hockey! It's fast-paced and there's actual physical contact and fights and there's never a dull moment! The exception to this would be the New Jersey Devils. There should be a rule against playing the trap. Booooooorrrrrrrring! Watch a Sabres or Pens game and you'll see what I'm talking about!

If you are a long time hockey fan then it is always fun to watch. Unless you team is losing I guess.

If you are new to hockey you have to try and watch it in HD or go to a game to really appreciate it.

Maybe all arenas are not as electric as the Xcel Energy Center (Home of the Wild), but I still think you can only appreciate the true speed of the game if you see it in person or on HD.

GO WILD!!!

What I like about hockey is that it is such a great blend of speed/skill and then just raw power and aggression.

Not only do you have to be skilled but you have to be able to play the physical game too.

It's definately like any other sport the better you know it the more fun it becomes to watch because then you can start bitching about what they should have done.

Yes it is. The action is amazing. even though there is not many goals, the hits and saves are really fun to watch. Many people will disagree with me but, i think i shootout is the funnest thing to watch.

Yup. I like watching it live better than on tv, but I sometimes watch it on tv. if I've got nothing earthshattering to attend to. Its exciting and a good time to watch, hard to explain.
