Is playing the Alto Clarinet hard?

I play the bflat clarinet and i was going to see about trying something new. is playng the Alto Clarinet hard?

It can get kind of challenging if you don't have a quality horn to play on. A bad alto clarinet squeaks more than anything. However, the embouchure is not hard to learn and the fingerings are identical to the Bb clarinet. Doubling is a great skill to learn, so have fun!
