What happen in this episode. I saw that they changed in the monsters but y?/?? PLease tell me in details

Apparently every 300 years or so, I can't remember exactly what the number of years it was, but it was a long time between changing, the witches turned into werewolves. It was a family tradition, but as it happened so rarely and nobody kept records, Grams forgot to tell the girls about it, so when it happened nobody, especially the three of them were prepared for the change. After I guess it was the second night of the full moon they found themselves outside and realized that the monsters that everyone was looking for was indeed themselves. It had something to do with it being a blue moon.

i grow to be out on the moors minding my own employer,then those 2 bloody American lower back packers arrived,making a helluva noise.So,I had to attack them! the ethical is - do no longer stray from the path!

they changed because of the blue moon.... it affected them because they were powerful witches
