There is a formal at the end of the school year, but the dresses have to follow the dress code. Shortness isn't really an issue, but the only allowed straps are straps that are two fingers wide-- no halters or spaghetti straps. Does anyone know where I can find (or look for) a dress that is CUTE but will fit the dress code?

Thanks.

P.S.
I am in the 8th grade and wear Junior's sizes.

Try checking out egowns.com. They have a big selection to choose from. They have dresses with different cuts and styles. I'm sure you'll find something that will catch you eye.

Debs has the cutest dresses for teens I've ever seen. They always have cute short, fun dresses and during fall and spring they have fancier dresses for the big dances.

My personal favourite is www.Delias.com. They usually have really cute dresses and accessories. When I was in 8th grade that's where I got my dress (I STILL have it!) and you can still get one under $50. You should definitely look there!

Delia's,Macy's,Wet Seal,Papaya,Rave,579, they all have nice cheap formal stuff for school. If you really wanna go all out I'd go with Macy's, but if it's kind of semi formal I'd go with Delia's and Rave.

PS:Alloy.com is really good too.
