Best to go to a Real Estate agent and get prices for comparable homes in comparable neighborhoods.

Zillow.com can give you an estimate. They base it on recent sales, tax office records, etc. It will be an estimate and may/may not be good depending on the accuracy of their information.

No, It depends what state you are in and the surrounding area. The best way is to find a real estate broker and get comparable listings in the area.

You can also check out zillow.com - but it is not exactly accurate. You should get your own agent and pull comps for the area. The way the market is going currently, please buy below comps. Or see if you can get the owner to work out some good terms with you (owner carry, carry a portion,etc.).

Go to www.zillow.com

Enter the address of the property and it will give you a ball-park idea.
