You are supposed to wait until you have been released at your 6 week doctor appointment before having sex. You could ovulate anytime, so take a test in a couple of weeks, and use protection if you dont want to be pregnant again.

It happened to a friend of mine. Her husband just couldn't wait for those six weeks to be over, so she finally gave in at three weeks. That one time was all it took - she was pregnant again. Her body couldn't handle two pregnancies so closely together, and the second baby was stillborn at six months.

I would question the accuracy of a blood test you got last week because your hormones are still all crazy from the pregnancy. Take another test in 1-2 weeks.

Not to be cruel, but until your body gets back to normal, you should be giving him BJs or hand jobs instead.

If you are breastfeeding, it may take a pretty long time for it to come back. Mine came back about 8 months after I gave birth. But just because you don't have your period doesn't mean you can't get pregnant, so you should look into what kind of birth control you want to use. Good luck with the little one!

You're supposed to ait around 6 weeks before you have sex again after giving birth to give your body time to heal. You could very well be pregnant again. Wait another week and buy a home pregnancy test or head to your obgyn.

Be very careful. Getting preg this soon is not good for your body. You have had no time to recover. IF you stopped bleeding from giving birth you still have a real period to come. And if you're breastfeeding that is another factor.

If you didn't use protection then of course you could be pregnant. As far as getting back to normal periods after having a baby...that's an individual thing.

Wow.. if you aren't still bleeding from the birth consider yourself lucky. If you are breastfeeding you may not get a period- but you are still able to get pregnant. I suggest you get on the mini pill or use condoms. It's healthy to space pregnancies apart, even by a little.
