TKO isn't going to be the player who went to two Pro-Bowls, but you can probably expect average play from him and not be disappointed. He looked very slow last year, so I think a lot of the explosion and speed he once had are gone. I think it was very even, personally. It is my understanding that, for a DT, Darwin Walker is a sack machine. Who needs to waste $80 million on a corner when you can spend less than a quarter of that to put him on his back?

Im not sure man, but Im leaning towards favorable for the Eagles. As an Eagles fan, I like the trade because they had the depth at defensive tackle and Broderick Bunkley waiting in the wings. The Eagles used a first round pick on him, and its time that he gets pushed into the spotlight.
As far as Darwin Walker goes, he has been very productive for the Eagles in terms of sacks. Consistant too, but like Takeo, he is around that age 30 marker, so be wary. Also, as an Eagles fan, our defense has been run all over in the past two years, and although our weakness is definitely LB, you cant help but feel that our d-line has a responsibility in this manner.
As far as Takeo goes, he has been to the Pro Bowl twice, then got injured, then didnt make it last year. He is due for a rebound performance statistically. One thing that has me puzzled is that if Takeo is so good, why do teams still choose to run against the Buffalo defense rather than passing against them. Obviously, teams must see some kind of weakness in the Bills running game. Im not sure if Takeo is to blame. I personally think that the Bills had a good defense that forced a decent bit of turnovers relative to the points that they have allowed, but then again, perhaps your GM knows something that we do not.
If I had to bet though, I think that the Eagles got the better end of the deal.

Walker is ok. The Eagles made out here because Spikes still has some left in the tank. plus he brings some veteran leadership to the team as a locker room presence.

It's a good trade for the Eagles because they need help with their Linebacker position and even though Spikes has been injured I see him doing great on the Eagles.

Hell no it isn't fair. I am a Broncos fan but the Bills Front Office stinks. They got rid of their only pro-bowl caliber players in one off-season and got nothing to show for it but a decent O-line with no one to run behind.
The Bills ownership and gm should be shot for doing their fans that way and they will be playing in the cellar for a long time with all of these bogus transactions.
Clements, McGahee, and now Spikes all gone?? They should just let Evans and Losman team up with a bunch of JUCO players

Obviously its fair they both agreed to the deal. I do think however that the eagles got the better end of it because takeo spikes is an awesome linebacker.
