You can start with a moisturizer that contains sunscreen; let it soak in before trying to apply foundation (or other makeup). If you aren't fond of moisturizer before foundation, try something like Hard Candy's Hint Tint. It contains a sunscreen (can't remember how high offhand), and it's lightweight. It's a good summer foundation. I've used it before, and it works well.

Just use a moisturizer with an SPF in it, and they you will not need sunscreen. Put it on before your makeup. Try th brand Skin Simple. You can also find foundation with an SPF in it.

A lot of face lotions and foundation have sunscreen in them, like SPF 15 or SPF 30. They are pretty easy to find.
