I get word-a-day from some website- but they're all words that i'm already familiar with, or that I wouldn't really use in everyday conversation. I'm looking for words that i could use in quotidian situations. (quotidian; good word huh? I like words. words are fun!)

They always feature short Scrabble-ready words for everyday on Scrabulous.com. It's usually on the homepage, with a brief description, at the bottom.
