I have a 13 month old, and I just cant stop thinking of having another child. My husband will mention it sometimes, but the he realizes what he's saying. But I feel like we just arent complete yet. He wants to finish school first, and yes having one is hard enough. But i cant help how I feel. Do I just have some sort of baby fever? Help!

No, its a normal feeling. When each of my kids turned one, I was suddently desperate to have another. I have three now, my youngest is almost three.... I know deep down we're done having kids, but I still long for another baby. I don't know... there's never a "perfect" time to have a baby, there is always something going on... if you have one while your husband is in school, why not two? Would it really make that much of a difference? If you know you want more than one child, both of you, I say go for it. But you have to do whats right for both of you.

I feel that the time will never be right. I waited 5 1/2 years to have a second child. Because I was waiting on the right time, even with the first one. Yes it is hard, but if it is gods will then it must be his way.. / When will he finish school. Make this out to be something that will happen around that time. It does bring extra joy of having two.

My son is a year old. Daniel and I decided we're waiting until JD is out of diapers before we decide to extend our family. I, personally, am not ready for another one. My problem is I'm so in love with JD I fear that I will not love another child the same. :o( I know that sounds terrible but it's the truth! I do want more kids, just not right now. I need to let JD piss me off some before I try to again! lol .... **www.happysahm.com**

I felt the same way when my son was 15 months. I then relized that it wouldnt be healthy for my body or my life. Just think of how hard it would be having two babies in diapers and everything else that goes with taking care of an infant. I would recomend waiting and letting your body heal. good luck with whatever you choose.

The healthy female body is programmed to have children about 2 years apart, meaning that when the first is 15 months old, the body is prime to have another. So I'd say it's natural. But you also have to use your brain. Don't et your family in too deep before you can handle it financially and emotionally.

there is no right time to have another baby.. you can have one at anytime.... but if i were you i would spend allot of mommy and baby time... cause when the second one comes i would really be hard to give you attention to the first one... enjoy what you have...
