She had such a beautiful voice in the 1970's. What happened? I know it will change as a person ages, but she sounds weird now. Is it because she snorted cocaine?

She no longer has a septum, the divider between her nostrils, because of cocaine. And yes, it's changed because of age too.

She's more than likely been smoking all her life and in smokey clubs and venues I'm sure over time that will change the tone of someones voice

She has aways talked though her nose and as far as singing funny now.So many singers change the way they sound because they just thinks it sounds better .I hate when they do that .
