theres something missing from the equation..when you find what you are missing, email me and ill show you how to find it

it should be the in the form:

y=mx+b

you are missing the mx

that equation is not a line, but if you meant
y= -8x+1
then the slope is -8 and the y intercept is 1
beacause
y=mx + b
m is the slope and b is the y intercept

mx+b
-8x+1

slope= -8/1 (down 8, up 1)
y-intercept= 1 (0,1)

the fomula for slope intercept is y=mx+b whereas m is the slope and b is the point that crosses the y intercept....go from there....

did you mean y=-8x+1
the slope will them be -8
and y-intercept is 1

m=slope
b=y-intercept

if you mean it y= -7
then slope = 0
and the y-intercept= -7

Good Luck!!!!

Edit: oh and you made a mistake again but its okay it y=-8x+1 you forgot the equals

it's okay!!!
