In the song "Before He Cheats", she is physically destroying property and is advocating violence. If this was a guy, it would be unacceptable. Do you agree?

she is expressing her feelings about having her bf cheat on her. Property damage is not quite the same as assault though.

No I don't agree. Before He Cheats is a relationship song. That is the message she was trying to get across with that song that it's a relationship and not a song about violence. If you talk to Carrie Underwood about that song she would tell you it was a relationship song and not a song that promote violence.

Yes, but then realize that cookie cutter media prop-ups like Carrie and Kellie Clarkson will do anything to sell themselves.
Carrie had two religiously-themed country hits before that piece. It's a shame she has no true identity after not giving "Before He Cheats" to someone more obviously trashy like Gretchen Wilson.

yeah, but the point is it's Cariie Underwood. It's ok if she sang and meant the song, but if it was a guy, it would be totally diffrent.
