I`m just wondering cuz i have recently read a whole section in The Independent about marijuana and how it can cause you go psychotic.I think they were talking of skunk cuz i never experienced any psychedelic stuff apart from being nicely stoned from the regular weed.i had skunk few times and I had a mild psychosis where i felt my hands fell off, but that happened only once...so, i`m curious.

The active chemical in Marijuana (Tetra-Hydro Cannibol - THC) can cause many differing effects in different people, often due to psychological factors as that is the part of the brain THC works most directly on.
The most common is a mellowing of the moods of the people taking it. While it has been known to cause hallucinations and other such phenomena in my experience it is rare.
As for particular strains producing particular effects, Shiva Shandri (Think I've mis-spelt the name) is one of the oldest and still considered as strong if not stronger than the more 'modern' hybrid strains.

When I smoke it just reduces my focus to one thing at a time, which is fantastic for my art coz I can't stop a piece til I've finished. My imagination does run riot on it (also great for my art) but never to a psychotic extent.
You should listen to Bill Hicks views on legalising cannabis. He makes a good point about it being less dangerous than alcohol or cigarettes, which are legal!

I agree with thinking you see stuff that is not there is BS. Maybe distorted colors and minor stuff but nothing more. If you want to really fly you have to use the hard drugs(im not recommending you to though).

back in high school i used to smoke, and i was watching my friend play DDR, and i swear it was amazing....there was like 8 arrows and my friend had like so many legs....

i never had.. ive always heard stories or watched movies that said it would happen.. but ive never experienced it.. i think its BS....
