Nope! There is NO solid foundation, and when the "winds of adversity" come, it will topple!

Im a bit of a romantic and a lot of people disagree with me. I believe there is the perfect man for every woman and vice-versa. Sure, a marriage can survive out of convenience if you are prepared to live without romance and intimacy. If all you need is to be cared for financially and physically then convenience works real well. I am starting to think, with such a high rate of divorce, then maybe marrying for convenience may work out better....lol....or else dont marry at all.
I know that is a cynical way of looking at things, but you cant ignore statistics. Me, personally, I could not marry for convenience. If I found out the man I married lied to me or else made himself to be someone he wasnt, then I couldnt stay married to him. I couldnt live a lie. If I stayed married out of convenience, I know I would have a mass of regrets on my death bed. I would be wondering what could have been. I would be wondering had I left the convenience then I would have stood a greater chance of finding my soul mate....of being excrutiatingly happy for the rest of my life......I would certainly be asking myself "What has my life been for".
We get one shot at this life......we can go searching for our ultimate happiness or we can just settle because it is easier and more convenient.....but we all get old and if we dont do it right when we are younger, then, I can practically guarantee, anyone who settles for convenience will be wondering and asking themselves the same things I would be, on their death bed.

If a marriage isn't based upon true love, commitment, honesty, and caring hearts it is a complete waste of time. It will eventually fail.
