Im using microsoft works task launcher, to make my resume..
when im done, i send it to my own email address...
And when i try to open it, I get this message!!
works cannot open the file. may be in use by another application. The file format may not support by any of the installed converters.....
How can i fix this? Any ideas?

You still have the file open, and you are trying to open it back up, so you have the same file running in Microsoft Works. Yo can only have the same document open in one place. Close all Microsoft Works programs, and then reopen the atachment.

I would try saving the file. Then emailing it as an attachment. If that didn't work, I'd try to make a copy on to a thumb drive even a floppy if available and sneakernet it.

Sounds like you need to close out of works before you try to open your e-mail.

I had this same problem.
I discovered that this had to do with my internet browser.
Download Mozilla firefox
This gives you the option of opening it.
Say yes and it will open.
If that doesn't work than we clearly had different problems.

Well, the first one that comes to mind is, have you closed and saved the resume'? if not, try that first, THEN try to open it online
