what excuse could you come up with in a hurry to get out of it?

My one and only ticket (moving violation or parking) was 10 years ago.
I had left my infant son with my mom for what was supposed to be a quick 30 minute trip. It ended up taking almost 2 hours...
My son was only nursing at that point and I had visions of him screaming his little heart out and my poor mom trying to calm him. So I was going 45 in a 35. It was a road I took daily and I knew EXACTLY where the cop sat-- but I was so distracted that I didn't think about it.
He pulled me over, I never botherthed to explain because this cop had a rep for not caring and being kind of a jerk, so I took my ticket, hurried home at found my son sound asleep.
My hubby had been pulled over by this same cop for going 55 in a 35, on his bicycle (it was on a hill). The guy told Todd (hubby) that he would be written a ticket if only he had had his radar gun out. So Todd got off with a warning not to speed on his bicycle again. LOL

EDIT:
So what was the best excuse you ever heard??

I came up with a good one, I got pulled over doing 85 in a 65 and he asked me what was the rush, it was about 11:30 at night and I told him that because of the hours that I work my wife and I rarely get the chance to be intimate, I told him that she was waiting for me at home in some sexy lingerie and I as horny as a toad, the cop laughed and said that was the best excuse that he had heard in awhile, so he told me to "slow down cassanova" and he let me go without the ticket, the best part of the story was when I got home my wife was in sweat pants and snoring.

I once told a cop that I was on my way to pick my daughter up at daycare and if I didn't get there in fifteen minutes I would have to pay a tardiness fee. I faked a few tears and brought up the fact that her father owed me thousands in child support and he let me go.

I am always extremely polite to police officers. I have gotten far more warnings than tickets because I cooperate and don't lie to them.

sure its no longer courtroom the place he might provide help to be attentive to why he pulled you over then you definately might argue it. So sure officers might provide you tickets without telling you why they pulled you over. you will obv. locate out as quickly as you get the value tag.

There is no excuse for speeding. If I were that cop I would give you the ticket.

Nothing is going to work especially when he can see what you are trying to pull......take the ticket and pay it.
