General Question: How can I make it so that iTunes plays my songs with the best quality?

Specific Question: In the settings, it has a place where I can adjust the quality of importing songs. Does more kbps mean better or worse quality?

Songs that your import are always at the same quality that they were. If its 320 before, it will be 320 in itunes.
However, when you buy them, they are at 128kbs.
More kbs, more quality
320 is the best, and the lowest you should see is about 98
