my ex is having another kid by another woman a year affter we broke up. They are also broken up now. He had cheated on me with her while she had been a good friend so there were hard feelings there though now i thank her for opening my eyes. well today i called her mother and asked her to tell this girl that if she wanted my son's old crib and other furniture to call me. i was scared to death because i said alot of hurtfull stuff to her but i know that our ex in common will not help her he even said he didn't see why he should buy this stuff...i just felt bad and wanted to help...did i do wrong where we both had hard feelings?

I think you did a very generous thing. Even though she hurt you very badly, you were the bigger person and extended an olive branch by offering the baby stuff. You two should get along since she is having your sons brother or sister. The children should have a relationship with each other, even if the dad is too immature to be in their lives. I hope it all works out.

No, you did not do wrong. Maybe this will build a strong bond between the two of you, knowing that you were both taken by this man. As long as you have apologized to her. Things said can not be forgotten but they can be forgiven. Just let her know that you are sorry and you will be there for her when she needs you to talk or whatever. GOOD LUCK

I would stay away from this situation. She cheated with your ex while she was your good friend. She should take the consequences that came from this. I wouldn't say that you did wrong but she doesn't deserve these things from you. Just stay out of this and go your own way. You sound like a good person. You deserve a better friend that she has been!
