a longer length which would be to my ankles? Also what would be a good color to wear and should it be a spaghetti strap or strapless? I'm not very big up front and am not sure what would be the best style to wear?

Don't get anything too heavy, long, or thick: dancing makes you really hot and you'll quickly regret it. If you don't have a very big chest, look for a dress with ruching(that's the folded ruffles-thing, google some pictures if you don't know what it is). It will fill out your bust and complement a thin waist. Something strapless is a good idea. It''s classy, sexy, and shows skin without being a whore.
Look for a dress that doesn't have too many colors or prints, and try to buy a dress that sticks to one or two solid colors. NO prints! Also, definitely do NOT get a black dress (doesn't fit the occasion very well), but a white dress is fine, though not a very good idea:it can get easily stained and sweated in.
Other than that, just try on a bunch of dresses and see which ones fit your body the best and you like the best.

Pending on the theme of the dance, or maybe just a deep set color that also stands out. I like more of the ankle length dresses. Could be either non or strapless. U decide.

go with straps..itd be a safer bet then having it fall down lol
the best way to find a style and color thats good for you is trying them on
some styles will make your bust look bigger but if the color is wrong it will appear to be smaller
you can also get a padded push up bra
sorry but we cant help ya pick out your prom dress just go for something noone else will have

it depends on ur size. if ur small, wear a dress w/ straps and a short length, it will make u look taller. i suggest a blue or peach color for prom

it depends on your body type if your bust is semi large don't go with strapless it will just fall down. i suggest longer length for any formal dance, its more classy, and color of course depends on skin tone, but you can never go wrong with black and white.

i recomend knee lenght and spaghetti straps. i think it looks cute 2 have a knee lenght dress, and while ur dancing, do u want to constantly pull-up ur dress so it wont fall. wear a necklace if u say ur a little.. not big, it will draw more attention 2 ur chest. tats wat im tryin 2 do 4 my prom... i should start shoppin! hav fun!!!

Well at my school we did long floor length .....I would just where something thats not to big or shiny....I had a cream color dress....

go to westly austins they have the best dresses and a long poofy dress and i think like orange or pink depending on your skin tone

strapless and long to your ankles. prom is usually elegant. strapless makes you look bigger. for sadie hawkins I wore strapless and it is true.
