MANY SEPARATE DIALECTS THERE ARE PER COUNTRY? THIS IS A HUGE PROJECT -- WORTHY OF A DISSERTATION.

Filipino is a great language to dissect. The language used in the South East Asian country of the Philippines, it is a derivative of a mixture of other languages and dialects. The 333-year Spanish colonization of the country shows in its strong lingual influence. There are also hints of Japanese and Chinese words in it.

There are several hundred dialect in the country but the Luzon-based Tagalog has the greatest influence over the national language.
