Think about what you want to do the rest of your life. Then do what you have to to make it happen.Dave Thomas (Founder of Wendy's.) went to work for Mr Sanders (KFC.) and learned the business from the bottom up. He went on to found one of the largest restaurant chains in the world. He also went back to school later in his life and got his G.E.D. because he didn't want others to think they should drop out and go to work. He knew how hard it was for him.
Go find work to start and learn everything you can about the business..This may involve offering to do things without pay just to learn....In the meantime find somewhere that you can get more education.....To succeed you must always keep learning on and off the job!

"Good" is relative, what may seem good to you may not be good to others. In addition, salary is relative, depending upon where you live and you needs, a high salary to you may be low to others and the opposite is true. Personally, good to me is a position with health benefits, a salary that allows me to pay all my bills, a good vacation package, and sick leave. You may still be able to find something like this if you look at labor unions and things like that. Jobs like forklift operators, heavy machinery operators, brick laying, etc. are often affiliated with unions who pay more than you would receive without them and have comprehensive benefits packages. You have to look around and try. Also, things like bricklaying have apprenticeships which allow for paid training and advancement, but they will probably want you to get your GED at some point. Good luck!

Choose one or the other...
Sanitation engineers (trash collectors) make good money, but I doubt you'll love it....
