In a way yes...however, having found out that the hormones directly in the cow's milk affecting women and I am sure men. doesn't pamper anyone at all......I am just recently off of it, and ultimately in reply to your query, YES...they want to keep he cows happy.....and spoiled? well I know they dont have cable but in idaho I knew some dairy farmers that played music for the cows so as to soothe them....Well perhaps you knew this and perhaps not....I mean they don't drewss them up in tutus and give them boas and tiaras, but yes they make them as comfy as possible to ensure that the maximum amount of milk can and will be produced. Well you asked!!!!!

No you get a gentler cow to milk from. Ever try to milk a cow that is kicking you? If you make them a pet they get use to it and don't try to kick as much. That might be a bad thing or a good thing depending on different things.
