i went 2 claires and theyre great all u hav 2 do 2 keep ur ears from getting infected is follow the directions on the bottle of antiseptic they give u. as 4 white gold or 14 karat im not sure if it reely matters i dont think it does...either 1 would be fine. good luck!!!
(p.s. just remeber 2 clean ur ears bcuz when my sis got her ears peirced she didnt clean them and got such a bad infection she had 2 take antibiotics - no joke!)

Walmart it's free all you have to pay for is the earring. Go with white gold.

I would not suggest Claires. My ears got infected when I went there, and so did a bunch of my friends. plus at Claires, it says FREE, but you have to buy the earings and the cleaning kit. for me i think it came to about 35$. any piercing/tattoo parlor will have have ear piercings for less than that.
I highly suggest looking at local jewelry stores, (non-branch). most local jewelry stores do ear piercings, and they are more reliable.

walmart will do it for like, $6. white gold and 14k gold won't make a difference in terms of your ears getting infected, i dont think. just dont get anything with nickel.
