During our travels last summer we spent some time near Ft. Wainwright, which is right out of Fairbanks, Alaska.

You wouldn't be one of those insurgents looking to do some messing around there would you? If so go ahead, I'm sure those boys, they have spent plenty of time in Iraq, could handle you.

By the way, the closest point in Alberta is over 960 miles from Ft. Wainwright. That distance is measured as the crow flies.

Then again are you talking about "Canadian Forces Base Wainwright, Southeast of Edmonton?

Wainwright Alberta is indeed a small "Lil" town. I'm not from there, but have been through it many times, as well as to a few of the CA's posts in the area.
