Minerals and metals on the Earth!!?

I'm doing a project for science and he wants a list of minerals and metals on the Earth. I can't find a list anywhere!

Have you been to a library? They have books on both metals and minerals, and they will loan them to you if you have a library card. Libraries used to be the main source for information before the internet usurped their domain.
