hypnosis can help with repressed memories, but sometimes the person "remembers" something that didn't really happen. it's tricky either way. I agree, though, that doctors tend to prescribe too much medication.

regression is done frequently and is still used in some police work. The main problem is to find a hypnotist who will do it and understands the process and the procedure. If the hypnotist gives any kind of suggestion as to who or what . it is useless.
you did not give any hint as to what kind of memories. How do you know there are any? Just because some one suggests that there are, should be , gotta be ,does not mean there are.
I remember a movie many years ago there the entire population was medicated so they could perform absolutely pointless jobs that only required a 60-70 IQ The first question a supervisor asked was "Did you take your medication today. " No one should have this much fun!!!!"

I cant recollect in which I learn it however the essence of it used to be regression is vain and can not be trusted on the grounds that the emotional state on your beyond as a baby isn't the equal as sooner or later as an grownup and this results in a fake reminiscence of specified parties. Its no longer nontoxic and unproven procedure.
