This is a hard business to compete in. I just finished barber school a few months ago and have shopped for supplies. The chains sell it for what a small shop can pay wholesale.
You'd need to be able to offer something they don't like delivery.

you could find a store that is out ouf buisness or an open lot for retail the problem though is taxes, money per sq ft and stuff like that. to get all the beauty stuff you should go to sallys they have so much stuff. also make sure to have a lawyer and stuff like that by hand u may need them
