Anybody know where I can get a snail that cleans a tank, doesen't reproduce, and doesn't bother Bettas?

The only snail that eats algae and can't reproduce in freshwater is the olive nerite. Other Nerite species are saltwater only - the olive variety can easily live in freshwater but will not lay fertile eggs in it. I have them in tanks with betta's and there haven't been any problems - and I don't have algae anymore! They also stay small - about 1" - which is good if your betta is in a small home.

Apple snails need a mate to reproduce and they won't bother bettas or any fish for that matter but they don't really clean tanks. They may eat some algae and any uneaten food but they should be fed their own food and they are poop machines so you would really have to clean the tank more then if you didn't add a snail.

The first link is a site all about apple snails and the second is an online store where you can get them but many local stores should also sell them.
