There's a difference between your felonious crimes and an illegal border crossing. However, illegal aliens should be placed in internment camps when apprehended, preferably in a locale whose climate they are accustomed to, such as Death Valley. They should be kept there for at least a year and then deported. Of course, that will never happen because the reason why they are being allowed to enter the country freely is to provide cheap labor to unscrupulous employers, with whom the neocon government is in cahoots to drive down wages in the US.

There are different punishments depending on the law broken such as fine for speeding and jail time for killing someone but both are still breaking the law. Both still have a punishment attached to them which even my children had natural consequences for things they were suppose to do.

There doesn't seem to be any consciences for entering the USA illegally. In fact, there really hasn't been any that I remember for many years. So illegally entering the USA must not have a punishment attached to it, so no one can figure out what to do. IMHO

Yet there are those who still wait months to enter this country legally because that is the way they believe and it is the right thing to do.

So, what you're saying is a murderer and an illegal immigrants should be treated the same? Should people who go 5 miles above the posted speed limit be pulled over? No one gets pulled over for that because they just let it go.

Illegal immigration isn't as big of a problem as the media and politicians say it is. People are brainwashed into thinking it is which is why there's this enormous debate.

Although there is logic to your argument, you forget that the law is created AND enforced by human beings. Obviously, the people who are allowing this to happen are in the majority. I recommend that if you have a problem with it that you write to your congresspeople and ALL elected officials in your town, county, state, etc. If you can vote for 'em, then WRITE to them. Let them know how you feel.
