The New York Times Cross word today...?

Has anyone solved it yet (it's only Tuesday, I know). I've just gotten into these, and my goal is to be able to finish a crossword for every day of the week, including Sunday. I've got Mondays down, but today's is kinda hard........ help, but please don't just give out answers.

I have never been able to finish one of those puzzles. That frustrates me!
