&& where can i find some info on just Katrina in Louisiana? I'm doing a project on Louisiana only, so please help?

You should remember Mississippi as well, the people in New Orleans suffered because of the Levies breaking, not directly from the hurricane. People in Mississippi suffered from the hurricane itself.

You should at least remember the rest of the Gulf Coast because no one gave a damn about the rest of use because of the idiots in CERTAIN sections of ONE city. Biloxi, for example, is basically leveled and New Orleans was having parties 6 months later.

I live in Alabama and I'm so sick of hearing about New Orleans because it only affected a few streets, actually (the flooding) and that was from the levies breaking, not the hurricane.

But who cares, each "poor, black New Orleans person" got over $15,000 for free, so yes...I guess I can see why we still need to be so sorry for them.

wiki isnt always right for weird things but im sure this number is VERY correct.
