a sugar ant is those little critters that like to get on your counter top to get any little sweet thing you may have left on your counter top.

Very tiny and the way to get rid of them is this:
First of all,make sure all tree limbs are NOT able to touch your house
Second, make up a mixture in a spray bottle of one part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
Spritz the counter top,walls,floors, INSIDE cabinets,etc ANYWHERE you see them coming in or climbing around with the mixture
ALLOW IT TO DRY NATURALLY
DO NOT WIPE UP THE EXCESS
Keep doing this whenever you see some of them,and once they are gone,then do this about every other week and you will NOT have them any longer.
ALSO which is common sense,be sure to clean up any spills and keep sugar,etc off the counter tops in sealed containers.
