I have various U.S. coins and would like to get all the dirt and grime off of them.Thanks for your answers!p.s I need something cheap

You clean a coin and it loses it's value real fast. There is no cheap coin cleaner anyway. Best bet leave them alone. It takes a pro to do it right and they know what coins can and can not be cleaned safely. I would hate to see you lose money on your coins, so it really is best to leave them alone.

If you drop them in achol, you know not the drinking one but that other one, most of the time it will work. I don't remember but i think there was a really good solvent to clean it. Check the library books. Hope that helped!

Lemon juice just put them in lemon juice overnight.

Also pop works because of the fizz or sometin.
