Hehe, I see what you are doing here. Very nice. Hoover is by far one of the worst President's in US history and his policies helped drive us into the Great Depression. See what obstinancy and stubborness gets us? No good.

Ironically, that is one of the things people like Bush, his I'm the decider, no wavering stance...*sigh*

Herbert Hoover did little while tha nation was entering a depression. So I don't admire him as a President.

History has still been kind to him because of his international humanitarian service.

Actually Hoover, for all his rhetoric, was very similar to FDR.

And that's one of the reasons I DON'T admire him.

There's no credit for being disastrously, destructively wrong in the face of overwhelming evidence, no matter how bravely you hold to your misguided convictions.
